Fruit and vegetable mobile market: On Wednesday mornings from 7:30 to 1 pm you can find the local mobile market on the street next to the church, across from the Main Plaza. You will also find lots of hand-made and homemade treats and crafts made by local hands.
For fresh juices, fruits and vegetables there is a small store on Av. Niños Heroes (see map). Turn west at the Police Station on the north side of the Main Plaza, go up one block and turn right (where Oxxo is). In front of John Gray’s restaurant, you will find this great little local fruit store. They make freshly squeezed juice every morning.
On some mornings you will hear a fruit truck coming by, full of fresh fruit and vegetables. This is another great and easy way to fill your fridge if you wake up early.
If you are looking for a full grocery store, we now have a Chedraui Selecto one and a half blocks north from Aldea Bek. There is a gourmet area where you will find some healthy food, great wines and specialty items as well as a small food court.
